Earlier this week, the popular XRP app called TipBot gained more adoption when an update arrived that enabled using the application and operating it through Apple’s virtual assistant, Siri. The news broke out when one of the members from the XRP community tweeted about the update. Here, the user wrote:

“- Find a @XRPTipBot user, scan a QR code or check your contacts
– set specific amount
– confirm or cancel Tip
-> only w/ your voice!!!”

On the thread, the creator of XRP TipBot, Wietse Wind tipped 5 XRP to the community member and author of the Twitter post to acknowledge the update. Another update was also mentioned in the same thread, stating new features of the TipBot.

Some of the fresh characteristics included in the 2.2.1 update were faster responsive time, amount balance display in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY and KRW, added emoji and changed widget color.  A bug was also conveyed to have been fixed in the respective update.

“Can you send tips without them having a tip box set up already?”

Responding to the comment, Wietse Wind stated:

“Of course”

Another blockchain space follower commented to inquire about the receiving end on the matter, asking how and where to check the received funds. In a response, a user suggested him to check the official website of XRP TipBot.

On the market front of XRP, matters have escalated as the red pill dissolves deeper into XRP’s half-full glass. At press time, the coin had slumped by 4.37% wherein it was trading at $0.33 with a market cap of $13.3 billion. The 24-hour trading volume is recorded at $437.6 million.
